Wassup! I’m DJ Jono Official—like "John-o" and no that’s not my actual name. It's short for Jonathan, but that didn't quite fit on the basketball court growing up, so Jono stuck.

I’m a Minnesota native who loves the snow and the sun. Growing up, I stayed active with basketball and a little bit of ultimate frisbee. I also developed a passion for music by learning to play the piano, organ, guitar, percussion, and cello.

​

I thrive on connecting with people and have a few quirky skills up my sleeve—I can juggle up to four objects, speak French, and I’m always ready to sing a song (might want to cover your ears for that). I’m also scared of spiders and my favorite food is waffles!

I’m currently pursuing a degree in Experience Design and Management at the BYU Marriott School of Business. My schooling helps me to approach my work in a human-centric manner. I work hard to understand and engage with my audience, whether designing a set or reading a crowd.

For the past two years, I’ve been exploring the world of professional DJing. It’s been an awesome journey, and the most rewarding part of it is the sense of belonging I bring to others through my music.
